Chris Lowry

Housing Supervisor

Chris has 32 years of experience in complex housing litigation, including tenancy and mortgage possession defences and disrepair, illegal eviction, discrimination, TOLATA and judicial review claims. He also specialises in homelessness appeals and representing defendants in the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and committal proceedings.

Before joining the Law Centre in 2021, Chris started practising specialist social welfare law in 1992 for what is now the Swindon Citizens Advice Bureau. He then worked with Reading Borough Council, Shelter, Caring for Communities and People and Shearer & Co Solicitors.

Chris holds a 2:1 Law degree and a Diploma in Legal Practice.
